the only time i've ever tried to save money

i've never been a very aesthetically inclined person (science is my thing). i like stuff, and buy it... that's pretty much it. so i for one am the first to be surprised that i decided to start making little trinket bracelets. i refuse to pay $50 for this stuff when all it took me was a pair of pliers and my forever 21 necklace.

la day

spent the day in la with my old, new friend maritess and her bf irwin. lol. so maritess and i have basically grown up together, but we've never been good enough friends to hang out for a day. but our love of shopping and fashion has brought us together. venice was a bust, full of people seeking medical marijuana and smells funny.

went down to toast cafe. deeeeeelish. not only is the food phenomenal, but apparently it's a hot spot for ex-boyband people because we saw aaron carter and ashley parker angel... and some dude from rage against the machine.. still dunno his name. lol.

anyway... got to go to opening ceremony. passed it a couple times because the effing sign is like made outta wire n is basically see thru. lol. i loved the stuff there, but the workers were so snobby that it effected my shopping. well... almost.. i got a pair of acne atacoma wedges. OMG they are friggen amazing. i knew that if i tried them on i would buy them, and i did. maritess ended up getting a pair as well... they are super wedges or something... super high, but probably one of the most comfortable pair of shoes i own.

after that we were pretty much done... it was a fun day and i hope to do it again.
